The Denver National Quilt Festival is coming up fast. The actual show will be April 30 to May 2. I will be delivering Seashell to the Denver Mart on the 28th, and helping to set up the SAQA exhibit Inspirations on the 29th. Saturday, I will be visiting the show as a viewer. Lots of trips to Denver, but also lots of fun. To prepare, I have had to do a couple of finishing touches on the quilt.
I was also interviewed by Fabri-Quilt, the manufacturer of the Marblehead Global Brights designed by Ro Gregg. Please click on the link to see the full interview. Also visit Ro Gregg on Facebook to see more about her designs.
After the show, the quilt will be part of the trunk show that goes with my talk Playing with Blocks. This is an exploration into the paths one can take when ready to move out of a comfort zone. Please visit MLFiberArts.com to see all of the lectures and classes I offer.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the Denver show. If you can’t make it, I will be at the Genesee Valley QuiltFest in Rochester, NY, June 5-7.
