Happy Holidays

This has been a year of gearing up, trying new things and losing an old friend.

Jim finished the renovations to my new studio and I was up and running.

I returned to Rochester to work the Genesee Valley QuiltFest.  It was great to see friends and the wonderful array of quilts GVQC produces.

I worked as a scribe in the quilt judging competitions for two county fairs here in Colorado as part of the Colorado Quilting Council Competition Committee.  It was a great way to see other parts of the state.

I was also elected the 2nd VP for Programming for the Rocky Mountain Creative Quilters.  My primary responsibility is to set up the programs for 2017.

My new on-line class EQ7: Mastering the Basics is launched.  After a few technical glitches, all is running smoothly.  Please find the class at QuiltEd Online.

I lost my sewing assistant this summer.  I do miss him going after the ornaments on the tree.  I no longer have to have bells on the bottom of the tree to warn of a ranging kitty.

ML FiberArts is looking forward to another eventful year of teaching interspersed with enjoying this wonderful place called Colorado.

The Solstice has passed, the days are getting longer, the sun returns with its warmth and light.

My best wishes to all for Happy Holidays and Peaceful 2016.
