What an accomplishment – to Yarn Bomb a Bridge. It was amazing to walk across the bridge and see the individual pieces. And, the railing were even covered.
Of course, I had to have a picture to prove I was there.
On the way to Pittsburgh, we were in Maryland and rode the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad from Cumberland to Frostburg. Very nice ride. Being pulled by Mountain Thunder, a steam engine.
DH found a wonderful winery in Virginia, and I found Millicent’s Yarns in Cumberland, MD. Great selection of yarns. Right downtown off the pedestrian mall. In Stephen’s City, VA, was Cloth Peddler, right on main street next to an old log building. Terrific shop and very nice people.
It was a wonderful trip. It was nice to get away for awhile. Now, back to the sewing machine.
