This morning as I was stealing some time to sew  my new art quilt, I was joined by my assistant.

My new project is to try to recreate the spider web we found in Old Salem Village (Winston-Salem, North Carolina).  This was on the outer wall of the tavern.  The textures were great.  I think I am going to do a combination of cheese cloth and thread painting.

Regardless, it is going to be fun.
